NYC butterflies

The best kind. Natch.

This post entailed a new approach. I took two different (severely manipulated) photos and rather than merging them, I simply put them side by side and softened their edges.

Whutchu think?

I think it works, actually.

Thanks! Glad you likes.

I'm not convinced I like it. Could you instead take the photo on the right and use it as a border all around the photo on the left?

Mike Bailey said...

Yeah, that could work. I intentionally wanted to create a form of assymetry to heighten the contrast.

You did achieve a form of assymetry. I will say -- well done! I like the colors and the shapes together.

I want a job as a "word speller for blog spam protection purposes."

So far I have spelt "viseter," "dersche," and now "spenta." It's like a whole new language world out there...

I think we need a contest -- Haiku the spam word that is visible when you post.

Introducing the Haikimerick:

Woman from Gloucester
bests all the men at drinking
leaves no choice - "oustr"

"Tormi" tormented,
Left in ruins, molested,
dying neglected.

That's the spirit, JC!!

I don't have a clue what is meant,
by these glyphs that seem so innocent,
but when the word "conaph"
gets between me and my post-laughs,
I object to the lingual intent!!

Back to pure Haiku:

I don't have a clue
how to spell, read, write, or type
the small word, "snerhe."

"denersom" that don't.
