Deborah, my niece

Deborah listening attentively to a speaker discussing the architecture of a home in Michigan. The light hit her eyes just right.

Top is probably one of my favorite photographs you've ever taken. It's so happy. And like, for real, not fake happy.

Happyhappyhappyhappyhappy.

My only complaint is that it's of a real person we actually know, not a stranger you photoraped, because I feel that my range of commentary is limited since it's a loved one.

What a lovely, expressive face. She should act.

JC--She's a lovely, expressive girl, a very sweet friend (and cousin) to my daughters.

She was very happy that day. She was at the beach with her favorite cousins with two more cousin days to look forward to plus one sleepover in the basement in the evening. Pure happiness.

I love the second to the last one. Her blue eyes really shine.

I love the bottom shot.

ST--that's my favorite, too. My only regret is it washes out her blue eyes, which really light up there in the sun.
