Is the thing dead?

I liked the previous title.

No. It's not dead, though my wife thought it was, too. That was not exactly what I was trying to convey, but profound loneliness and sorrow was what I was going for. I guess they're not mutually exclusive.

ST--yes, probably the first title was better. One second-guesses oneself, you know.

It seemed like a very sad photo to being with and I also made the connection, which I assumed you were going for, of the photos of two swans together like a heart.

I also immediately thought, "is that a dead swan?" Maybe if you titled it "A swan who is lonely and sad", it would help. I'm just saying.

good suggestions, all.

Which you are ignoring!!

Where's the action?

The people (well 2 of us) have spoken!

Fight the power!

And I'm guessing that by "Good suggestions, all" you mean "forget it, you eyeball-bee-hand photographer wannabes".

no no.

they are good suggstions. really.

but sometimes a man must live with his mistakes.

and "swan" is obviously a badly mistaken title for the photo. but swan it will remain until the spirit moves me.
