grill cheese and escargot

Our family stopped at a city in Michigan on the coast of Lake Huron and ate a lunch a funny little family restaurant that was one-tenth swanky, two-tenths retro kitsch, three-tenths mom and pop (or maybe pop and pop) restaurant, and four-tenths diner. So the menu did offer escargot, and I ate some--my first ever. And it also offered for the special, "grill cheese." That pleased me. There's more of a story in here than I'm describing but I don't have it in me right now to tell it. Tired.
