You can't believe the newspaper

Poor Timekeeper. So abused by me.

Where's my 25 comments? No one cares for me welfare!

I can't even relax with the Sunday paper without some stud telling me "Move the paper a little higher...to the left....too much." And I do it unquestioningly.

And all you poll whiners, shut up! I live with this blog 24/7 literally and figurateively and I don't have a poll either.

Sorry, just a little cranky that he can get 25 comments on his toes, but his mrs.professormikey...nada. Did Mrs. Mozart feel this way? Mrs. Michaelangelo? Mrs. Kenny Rogers?

If it makes you feel better, Mrs. Mozart was the younger sister of the woman Mozart actually loved and he spent the rest of his life writing concert arias for that woman rather than his wife, slept around a lot, and died young, adn then his so called friends stuffed in him a pauper's grave to save money.

Speaking of which, Michaelangelo was a grave robber, and while I know nothing about his wife, if he had one, if you think having an obsessed photographer type around is bad, try having a guy who spends all his time painting the corpse bits that he's dissected in the basement.

So in answer to your question, probably yes.

And in respect to your suffering, I will shut up about the poll now.

And I do it unquestioningly.

Because anyone who knows MB knows that it is just easier that way.

You go, Mrs. Kenny, you go!

Oh, and btw Mrs. Kenny: when certain persons left a bunch of comments on your FB wall, you griped. Now, no comments on Eyeball Central and you gripe.

Where's the consistency, I ask?

Thank you s-s for putting my suffering ("I'm trying to read the paper in peace! Why are you having me move it around?!?") in context. I guess I can count myself lucky that he does not long for technoprairie or bring home the NOLA corpses. He's actually my most favorite person in the world.

Umm, timekeeper... are those the new glasses you were mentioning? How bad IS your eyesight?

It's just that.... well, you don't walk into moving fan blades quite like MB does. Does that make sense? So we don't notice how wonderful you are, because we're too busy rubbernecking at the odd poses he puts himself in -- both literally, and figuratively.

We're drawn to the horrific results of his ego. And living with him 24/7 as you do, I KNOW you can appreciate what a spectacle it is...

As Jim Rome says about Manny Ramirez, "That's just [Mike], being [Mike]..."

A.

timekeeper: "And I do it unquestioningly." Yes, I admit you're good that way. And the nice thing is that everyone, yourself included, benefits from it. I'm merely a midwife for goodness in the world.

S-S: I think it was very generous and fair of you to recognize that others may suffer more than you on account of me.

Steven Taylor: "And I do it unquestioningly." Yes, I admit you're good that way. And the nice thing is that everyone, yourself included, benefits from it. I'm merely a midwife for goodness in the world.

Your second point, the one about Timekeeper's inconsistency was brilliant. Let's direct the negativity toward her, please. It's definitely a nice respite for me.

Andy D: "We're drawn to the horrific results of his ego."

If only I could find a way to argue with this. Damn.

timekeeper: that was somehow simultaneously very sweet and very creepy post.

very sweet and very creepy

Kinda the subtext of the blog, yes?
