Inside: Photos of eyeballs, bees, eyeballs, blue hands, and eyeballs. Also inside: Thoughts I want you to read and to live by and, when especially inspired, to set to opera. Also inside: my fight against vegetable tyranny. Just a little something I do so you don’t have to. You're welcome. Come on in and get your jibber jabber on!

I like them, especially the second one. Glass aside, it looks like you're showing your i.d. "Yes, officer, it is I, the tortured soul you see here. This is all you need to know and more than you need to know. Uh, yeah, I'll come with you now."
I like it, JC.
"Portrait of a Disturbed, Tortured Perp...
... but a Perp nonetheless."
Was that i.d.--or id?
MB - since you're obviously busy with work (pshh, whatever!), allow me to respond to AD and A, "Hahahahahaha, Ahahaha, oh me!"
Is this metaphorical? ;)1st and 3rd- my favorites. Well done.
Leaf-I feel like this is more of an allegory...
This whole series is creepy and disturbing.
So was it a #!?% stink bug, or not?
I like 'em--especially the third one.
And metaphor?
Nah.
He's just too cheap to buy a new mirror and because he wasn't shaving he didn't really need one.
Very intense eyes...
2nd photo: sort of angry and
disturbing
3rd photo: much kinder and more attractive..but less going on in the eyes...hmmmmm.
last photo: eyes are disturbed in a more self contained way.. confusion or anxiety maybe?...
Not sure, but your eyes say a lot, whether intended to or not. Very demanding eyes.
You need to have the Twilight Zone music in the background as your viewers look at these pictures.
They're perfect.
Just realized that I was so busy responding to the eyes in each photo, I forgot to mention that I really like this series. I think you have a good thing going here...looking forward to future self portraits. (would also like your interpretation of the broken mirror...have my own..but wonder if I'm on the mark.)
