Grand Central "Terminal"

Terminal. Station. Whatever. We all know what it is, okay. King Kong climbs up there and gets killed by Woody Allen.

That makes no sense. I'm so very sorry.

Here's why this photo is freaky. The station looks kind of off-horizontal. But it ain't.

Ooooh, MAgic!!

This -- is a great photo. Seriously.

The horizontal "offness" is I think related to something called "tilting your hand."

The bigger questions are, I feel: What is that black horizontal architectural feature in the top right of the photo; where is it (i.e., what building is it on); and did you photograph it directly and will you show it to us?

You'd be surprised how often I'm struck by "tilt your hand." It's one of my favorite photo techniques. Gosh, even when I don't try.

The black thing is some sort of reflection. Of what I don't know, I'm sorry to say.

Your comment made me smile, by the way. No, not in a sexual Mona Lisa way, freako. In a very appropriate way due to your humor, weirdo.

Darn right not in a weirdo way! Weirdo no, freako -- can't say.

A reflection, you say?

Funny enough, the assumption that it was a reflection, is the very starting point of my questions! Gosh we're on the same track! If only I knew from that point forward -- a reflection of what, where, and can I see it directly.... Sometimes I just don't ask very good questions....

I think it is a reflection of the St. Louis Arch. Does that help out?

Excuse me for coming late to the party, but I believe I can help you. It appears to be the smoke monster from "Lost."
