Pampered Chef Egg White Separator

So very very happy. Oh, how the Holy Mojo was flowing, and how the Mojo did not disappoint me. Such moments make a man grateful to be alive, to be given the priceless gift of life. So fine, these photos aren't sacred by your sights. That's cool. But I'm grateful for my life. And I'm grateful for my precious Emma. And I'm glad that when I see an egg separator on the table, I can have fun with it. As the wise doctor said, 'these things are fun and fun is good."

Life is short; be grateful for it.

And life is long; make it livable for others.

There is such a thing as a device for the automated separation of an egg into parts? I am troubled and excited by the pace of advancing technology. So many cooks will have an easier time with such a task, and yet, is the ability to break an egg in half and carefully pour the contents from one shell half to the other until the contents are fully separated a skill that will be irrevocably lost?

Glad to hear you're in a happy time, and everything is "clicking". I really like the bottom photo.

I think the pictures are great. As I sit here admiring them, I have to ask....did you wash the egg separator before you put it back in the drawer?

ST: You funny, white boy. I can understand what prompted your comment, but I was actually alcohol free at the time I wrote that.

AD: Too tame for Lady Gaga.

S-S: Oh, it's a skill that won't be lost because I think for the truly skilled, it might be a faster process than using the device.

Julie: Thanks, you. Yes, all that happiness from yesterday seems so very distant. Such is life. It will return.

Timekeeper: ummmm....yes?

I was going to suggest that you call these pictures "the spiral of death" but now that I know it is lovely Emma in these pictures, I'll just sit back and enjoy them (and the image of timekeeper frantically looking for the egg separator in order to wash it).

AD: Isn't "wash" a relative term? I mean....time cleans, doesn't it?

Timekeeper: somehow I sense I almost disappointed you by having including cheer in these photos.

Andy D. said...

No. Time heals. Time don't clean, not jack squat.

Am I right, people??

I'm not thinking heals or cleans so much as dulls and decays.

Hey, guess what? Our newly installed tv/phone/internet service came with a Michael Bailey music channel. It did. The description reads, "Visceral riffs and dark melodies to soothe the savage beast." I fully expected to see a photo of you floating around the screen as the screensaver.

And you know, of course, that when I draw the parallel between you and "savage beast" I do so in the most endearing of ways.
