Leaf in nook

This is a photo of a leaf in a nook. Kinda monochrome, isn't it?

Kinda nice is what it is. Way to bust back onto the scene.

It looks like a painting.

Yes. It is hard to know where the leaf ends, and where the nook begins.

But such is life.

I like it. I have a soft spot for sunlight on wood grain.

Oh, my audience has been so starving for posts here that they're going wild for a leaf. I've done you wrong, audience. I'll try to be more steady in my contributions in the future.

Technoprairie: I agree. I was going to point that out myself but I hesitated, fearing that I say this about about half of my photos. I fear getting an angry note from a reader reminding me, "You are NOT a painter!!"

Welcome back. And regarding the self-effacing painter comparisons, please allow me:

You are not worthy to stretch the canvas for Peanut the Painting Elephant, as she prepares to hurl another tempra-soaked banana at it.
