First, take a digital picture of a nighttime scene. Then convert it to a negative. Then amplify the colors.
Voila, there you have it: McArt.
Inside: Photos of eyeballs, bees, eyeballs, blue hands, and eyeballs. Also inside: Thoughts I want you to read and to live by and, when especially inspired, to set to opera. Also inside: my fight against vegetable tyranny. Just a little something I do so you don’t have to. You're welcome. Come on in and get your jibber jabber on!

How perfect for today's attitude that faster is better! Who needs all those long and tedious hours of study and practice painting anyway?
yes, and if i could have popped the photo into a microwave oven to speed it up, that would have been even better.
btw, what photo editing software do you prefer?
it's whatever came with my camera.
arcsoft photostudio. i think it's pretty standard, kind of minimal. i don't know what i'm doing with it apart from little trial and error. it certainly has limitations; for example, it won't let me rotate a picture without cropping it. and that makes me sad, justcurious. there are times when a rotated non-cropped picture hits the spot like nothing else can.
man, i would be sad too. i'm sitting here trying to imagine such a thing. maybe it's time to spend a few $$ on the latest upgrade. all the recent versions of arcsoft that i see out there all claim to have point and click rotate.
i appreciate your solidarity, justcurious. the problem, however, is this. if i get the new program, i'll want really good photo files to play with, and that means i'll have to get a new camera. and it's clearly the case that mac is the way to go for photo manipulation, so i'll have to switch computers, too. so i'm saving myself a lot of money by saving myself a little money.
and really the chief victim is you, who are denied access to uncropped rotated pictures.
damn! just writing that makes me sad.
i had no idea. would you at least be able to plug the new computer into the same wall outlet, or would it involve buying a new house as well?
new house, eh? i like this middle-aged version of "if you give a mouse a cookie..." but sadly i've drawn a blank as to what the next misfortune should be.

i do know this, however, justcurious. i wish you and yours a most lovely and meaningful christmas.
why thank you, Michael b! and here's wishing you and your family an extra measure of peace and love.
