I like that they're each reaching in different, unique ways. Before I clicked to make the pic full-screen, it looked like the littlest girl had her arms stretched to say: "I'm ready to be lifted and held." Plus, she's thinking that her balance is limited and if she raises her head or stretches higher, she'll probably tumble. Once I clicked to make the image larger, I saw that she really just thinks her shadow is pretty dang cool--and it is. Then there's the girl on the right, who is ready to catch a ball or has maybe just released a balloon. She has energy and movement. And finally the third gal (the oldest?) who--like the one with the shadows--seems to understand a bit of what you might be trying to capture. She's definitely reaching for it all and is doing so with power and confidence.
I think it's a really great pic. And there's one reading of it.
I've enjoyed perusing through all the pics and commentary. Thanks.
Greetings from Austin!

thanks Jaime M.!
I loved my eleven years living in Austin. What a great town!
And thanks for your thoughtful (and kind) commentary.
